My favorite thing about photography is capturing moments, taking a moment in time and freezing it forever. Theatre is the recreation of living moments, unfolding in front of the audience's eyes. Thats why I love photographing plays and musicals, the directors, actors, and designers have crafted a rich world to explore and if I can capture their passion in a photograph, I can create a truly moving, beautiful image.
Photographs taken during dress rehearsals make wonderful keepsakes to share with friends and family and to remind you of your experience. They are also invaluable for designer portfolios and for actors' press kits. Whether you're a designer or an actor, you're going to need to show future employers or agents the work you've created in the past. High quality images from those productions help communicate your skill as an artist.
These galleries are selections of my favorite shots taken during the dress rehearsals of these shows. There are a plethora of other images from each show not pictured on this website that would be included on your picture CD.
